Job Title:

Scheduler & Operations Assistant (Local - Rockland/Bergen Area | Part-Time/Remote Hybrid)

We are a high-growth mobile pet spa serving Rockland County, NY, and we're looking for a part-time Scheduler & Operations Assistant to keep our team and operations running at peak performance.

This hybrid role includes remote scheduling and client communication, as well as in-person support like towel drop-offs, product tracking, and van checks. We're looking for someone local to our area who is detail-oriented, friendly, and understands the grooming world - especially dog and cat breeds, coat types, and what different pets require for grooming success.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily grooming schedule using

MoeGo

software (we'll train the right candidate). Communicate with clients via phone, text, and email in a warm and professional manner. Use your

breed and coat knowledge

to help pet owners select the right services and timing for their pet's grooming needs. Coordinate with groomers to build efficient routes and ensure top-notch service delivery. Handle reschedules, cancellations, and confirmations with care and clarity. Keep detailed notes in MoeGo about pet behavior, grooming preferences, health notes, etc. Perform light in-person tasks (e.g., towel pick-up/drop-off, supply runs, checking vans). Track grooming products and notify team when restocks are needed. Support the business with operational tasks that keep everything flowing smoothly.

Who You Are:

Experienced in scheduling, admin, or customer service (preferably in grooming, pet care, salon, or similar service-based field). Strong working knowledge of dog and cat breeds, coat types, and related grooming needs (e.g., double coats, matting risks, breed-specific cuts). Ideally, a former groomer or salon coordinator who "speaks the language" and knows what questions to ask pet parents. Personable and confident communicator who genuinely enjoys working with people and pets. Detail-oriented, reliable, and calm under pressure. Familiar with MoeGo or other grooming platforms is a plus. Able to multitask and work independently. Holds a valid driver's license and has reliable local transportation. Lives in or near Rockland County, NY.

Schedule & Compensation:

Days:

Sundays and Mondays preferred; other days flexible based on availability.

Hours:

16-20 per week, with growth potential.

Pay:

$18-$23/hour depending on experience.

Location:

90% remote, with in-person support as needed. 8:00-9:00am arrival to fleet yard in order to start the day for groomers.
