Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Scheduler at Lake Area Psychiatry in Lake Charles, LA. The Scheduler will be responsible for managing appointments, coordinating patient schedules, handling incoming calls, and ensuring efficient operation of the scheduling system. The Scheduler will also be expected to communicate with patients and healthcare providers, update patient records, and assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Experience in managing appointments and handling scheduling systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with healthcare administrative tasks and patient record management Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Proficiency in using computer systems and software relevant to the role Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in healthcare administration or related field are a bonus
