Position Summary

Responsible to perform efficient and accurate check and credits of all products received and returned by vendors. Maintains accurate shelf tags and signage throughout the store. Verifies pricing on products and facilitates weekly changes.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties

Check in vendors by counting and recording actual product received, product returned and ensure documentation of credits.

Review products for damaged and outdated products as it is checked in.

Provide display signage for specials, new items and temporary prices.

Verify shelf tags and signs for accuracy, check shelves for tags that need replacing and hang new tags.

Process weekly tags and talkers from SV or NF, hang special ad signs and removed talkers or expired signage.

Conduct department pricing verifications quarterly and verify each weekly and special ad.

Verify and proof the content of the ad to include price, pictures, savings, spelling, contact information, etc.

Education/Work Requirements

Degrees High School Graduate or Equivalent (GED) (Required) Job Experience One (1) year experience in a grocery or retail environment preferred.

Knowledge, Skills Abilities

Ability to read, write, comprehend and interpret documents. Basic mathematical skills. General working knowledge of retail operations and knowledge of products. Detail Oriented.

Physical Requirements

May be required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds regularly. Continuous standing/walking/bending. The duties of the job are subject to a typical office environment and is rarely exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment varies.
