The Pendelton Terminal is seeking a shift scale operator to join their team. The applicant must be trustworthy and a self-starter with good oral and written communication skills.



Job Duties

Working Hours 7am - 3pm Monday - Friday Overtime and Weekend Work Required as Needed.


Qualifications

Computer skill and able to multi task Able to Interact and Keep Composure with a variety of Customers, Vendors, Drivers, and Occasionally Manage Highly Stressful Situations. Believer in Teamwork, Problem Solving, Creativity and Strong Work Ethics.


Responsibilities

Responsible for Operating Truck Scale Ensuring that all Inbound and Outbound Trucks are Weighed and Moved through Scale in a Timely Manner. Maintain Scaling Documentation by Collecting, Reviewing, and Verifying Tickets/Paperwork. Answer and Direct Phone Calls. Filing and Organization of Documents as needed. Maintaining a Clean Environment of Office and Scale Area by Vacuuming and Mopping floors, Cleaning and Stocking Restrooms, Collecting and Disposing of Trash, Cleaning Furniture...etc. Any Other Duties Assigned by Management.


Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
