We are seeking candidates for Scale House Attendants on 2nd shift, Weekend shift, and 12-Hour Day and 12-Hour Night shifts. Compensation for these direct hire opportunities is $17.00-$19.00 per hour, depending on shift and experience. Interested? Read below for more information!

What a Scale House Attendant will do:

• Take over loading/unloading from previous shift scale operator
• Professionally work with truckers on a day to day basis as the primary on-site contact
• Move trucks through the scale in a timely manner, hook up and disconnect trailers with yard semi to do preloads using bulk loading system as well as portable augers
• Sample in and outbound loads including grading and running on sample computer system
• Adhere to all Quality Assurance standards, and maintain general housekeeping of scale house

What you need to be a Scale House Attendant:

• High school diploma or equivalent, and must hold a valid driver\'s license
• Semi-truck experience hooking up and dropping trailers (CDL not required)
• Grain grinding experience is a plus, and inventory knowledge is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, stand for extended periods of time, work in dust, work at heights up to 150 feet, and operate a skid loader and telehandler with or without reasonable accommodations
