We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Production Associates to join our meat processing team. This position focuses on hands-on production of sausages and beef jerky, from preparation through packaging, while maintaining strict food safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process meat for sausage and beef jerky production
Operate grinders, mixers, stuffers, slicers, fryers and smokers
Follow established recipes, batch logs, and production schedules
Accurately weigh, portion, and package finished products
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and tools
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP/USDA guidelines
Assist with inventory of raw materials and supplies
Work efficiently in a cold production environment
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
