Ansell is looking for a SA/QA Analyst to join our team in Reno, NV!

Role Profile:
  • Position Title: SA/QA Analyst
  • Job Location: Reno, NV
  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Status: Non-Exempt
  • Reports to: Associate Director, Scientific Affairs HGBU
Specific responsibilities include: The SA/QA Analyst will be responsible for projects that generate a distinct competitive advantage by adding value and driving commercial impact. This role requires translating business partner needs into actionable insights through various quality and commercial activities, research, technical writing, and educational development of sales and marketing team webinars. This position will also be responsible for testing and analyzing product performance through standardized and non-standardized test methods including both physical and chemical testing and conducting statistical analysis of product performance data. The position also requires strong analytical and communication skills to consistently share insights from the day-to-day management of SA projects with a diverse group of stakeholders.

What would this role look like in detail?

  • Provide technical support and strategic advice to both internal and external customers on a range of topics related to personal protective equipment.
  • Manage and prioritize projects based on strategic objectives and goals including conducting competitive testing and analysis of product performance via standardized method.
  • Compile and share trends and insights, collaborative research with our partner networks, market, or industry information with stakeholders during monthly or quarterly meetings or in targeted customer training.
  • Technical report writing for both internal and external customers.
  • Strengthen lab network by fostering collaborative research, input and feedback from our internal networks including Research & Development and Manufacturing QA. Manage external partner labs for the internal network.
  • Translate research, industry standards, glove science and other complex technical topics into easy-to-understand business or customer needs.
  • Conduct maintenance and calibration on a variety of laboratory equipment.
  • Maintain chemical inventories and oversee chemical waste disposal.
  • Understand and follow Quality System documents relevant to responsibilities such as Quality Manual, SOPs, Methods, and Local Policies.
  • Work in a global team setting with other Associate Scientists and/or Laboratory Technicians.
  • Maintain a safe, clean laboratory and clean work area.
  • Support related administrative activities.
What will you bring to Ansell?
  • A combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Courses in analytical chemistry, polymer chemistry, biology, or similar physical science preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a corporate environment.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in a laboratory environment.
  • Experience with presenting technical information to business partners is required.
  • Experience with wet chemistry or mechanical instrumentation is strongly preferred.
  • Glove or polymer laboratory experience preferred.
  • Experience with hazardous chemical handling is preferred.
  • Experience with record keeping in an office setting preferred. Administrative paperwork and other documentation are needed for project validation and quality record keeping.
  • Experience with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) a plus.
