Randstad Federal is seeking an SAP Enterprise Architect for a program supporting Navy.

Overview:

Designs and develops computer software applications and/or database systems, participates in large systems and subsystem planning, ensures adherence to product build schedules, release schedules, and project strategies, oversees testing and debugging components and modules, leads the development of technical documentation and often leads interdisciplinary teams with responsibility for project performance. May evaluate problems of workflow, organization, and planning, develop appropriate corrective actions and prepares and performs presentations at technical interchange meetings and project design reviews. Reports orally and in writing to the Program Manager, Project Manager, contractor management, and government representatives.

Required Skills:

10 (Ten) or more years of experience in distributed computing architecture. Must have experience in web application development, legacy systems integration, object oriented analysis and design, n-tier and client server architectures, and database proficiency. Must have demonstrated strong team leadership and project management, strong communication skills, domain knowledge of business functions such as procurement, supply chain management, manufacturing, sales, and marketing. Must possess exemplary client management skills, experience with working in large implementation projects, and business consulting experience. Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.

Prefer knowledge of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and the development of the associated architecture products, knowledge and/or training in Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) modeling standard (BPMN modeling experience preferred), experience in documenting business process flow diagrams, and knowledge in new emerging technologies such as SAP HANA or equivalent

Minimum Education: BS Computer Science, Information Systems or Electrical Engineering or other relevant discipline. Education may be substituted with 10 years of demonstrated experience as implementing and maintaining business enterprise architectures under any formal framework.

- Active Secret Clearance (must be clearable)

Primary Job Duties:

  • Provide Enterprise Architect expertise to confirm/develop business requirements definition;
  • Provide configuration, data migration, interface, and functional support as necessary;
  • Develop and maintain systems documentation including business process procedures, functional design specifications, process flows, and test cases;
  • Support development of training work products and respond to trainer questions;
  • Define user authorization requirements;
  • Provide help desk support, assisting and resolving end user support problems, resolving Enterprise Architect defects (\'break/fix\'), analyzing proposed improvements or changes to the Navy ERP Enterprise Architect solution and system;
  • Prepare/conduct briefings, demos or training sessions as needed.
Preferred Skills:

- strong communication and collaboration skills

- Focus on customer service and responsiveness, with sound customer handling skills

- Federal experience required (DoD experience preferred)
