About the role



The SAP ABAP Developer will provide technical solutions for production issues, support project developments, and deliver high-quality SAP applications. This role involves collaborating with clients and internal teams, designing process flows and technical documentation, performing troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth deployment of code. The developer will participate in code reviews, support effort estimation, and assist in creating functional and technical specifications. Occasional travel to client sites across the United States may be required.



Key Responsibilities

Interact with clients to understand production issues and provide SAP ABAP solutions.

Participate in status meetings and create design process flows, diagrams, flowcharts, and technical documentation.

Manage deliverables and perform peer and self-code reviews to ensure quality.

Troubleshoot day-to-day issues, perform data fixes, and implement emergency code corrections.

Support the functional team in effort estimation, code design, and development of technical specifications.

Collaborate with client technical teams to isolate issues and implement code fixes efficiently.

Develop test scenarios, prepare test data, and ensure successful implementation.

Identify and resolve code deployment issues, assist with migration, and provide ongoing support.

Travel to unanticipated client-site locations nationally as required.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development or related technical roles.

Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP programming and troubleshooting.

Ability to create technical and functional specifications, process flows, and documentation.

Familiarity with code deployment, migration, and SAP testing processes.

Preferred Skills

Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills.

Experience in managing technical teams and reviewing code.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to handle complex SAP issues and deliver timely solutions.
