About the role



Seeking qualified SAP ABAP Developer w/associate's or foreign equiv degree in CIS or CS or Computer Applications & 24 months of work experience for Creating, maintaining, and enhancing SAP applications using the ABAP programming language. Provide design process flows/diagrams, prepare documents, flow charts, data and layout to illustrate proposed solutions. Responsible for managing the team, delivering technical objects, and performing peer- and self-code reviews. Provide day-to-day troubleshooting and investigation on issues, data fixes, and emergency code fixes. Occasional travel to unanticipated client-site locations within USA may be required as a roving employee.



Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement SAP user profiles and authorization objects.

Ensure access and role management for SAP development objects, SAP ECC, and HANA applications.

Support GDPR compliance initiatives and ITGC audit requirements.

Analyze complex business and access requirements to develop appropriate SAP roles.

Monitor and optimize SAP performance using tools such as runtime analysis and SQL trace.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP authorization and access.

Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Travel to unanticipated client locations within the US as required.

Required Qualifications

Education:

Associate's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or Computer Applications

Experience:

Minimum 24 months (2 years) of work experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing SAP applications using the ABAP programming language



Technical Skills:



Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming

Ability to design and document process flows, diagrams, flow charts, data layouts, and technical specifications

Experience in team management and technical object delivery

Strong skills in peer and self-code review

Proficiency in troubleshooting, issue investigation, data fixes, and emergency code corrections

Other Requirements:

Willingness to travel occasionally to unanticipated client-site locations within the USA as a roving employee

Preferred Skills

Experience in designing secure, scalable SAP roles and user profiles.
