Seasonal Santa Performer - Holiday Experience Team Job Summary We are seeking a charismatic, enthusiastic, and highly professional individual to embody the role of Santa Claus for our exclusive holiday experience. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine love for the Christmas spirit, exceptional communication skills, and the physical stamina required to deliver a magical and memorable interaction with guests of all ages, especially children, throughout the holiday season. This is a temporary, seasonal position but annually which means this role is a necessity and it's something to look forward to! Key Responsibilities Character Portrayal: Maintain an authentic and consistent portrayal of Santa Claus, including the signature "Ho, Ho, Ho" and cheerful demeanor, for the duration of all shifts. Guest Interaction: Greet, engage, and interact with families and children, listening attentively to their Christmas wishes and creating heartwarming moments. Photo Opportunities: Pose for professional photographs with guests, maintaining a high-quality, engaging visual presence throughout the session. Costume Management: Properly wear, care for, and maintain the professional-grade Santa suit, and accessories provided. Must have own boots! Storytelling & Singing: Be prepared to tell short Christmas stories or lead simple holiday songs upon request to enhance the festive atmosphere. Crowd Management (with support): Cooperate with Elves and support staff to ensure smooth, efficient, and joyful flow of guests through the experience line. Professionalism: Adhere strictly to scheduling, break times, and on-site conduct policies, always remaining in character while visible to the public. Qualifications and Requirements Appearance: Must possess a natural, full beard (preferably white or able to be professionally whitened/styled) or be willing to wear a high-quality prosthetic. Must have a friendly and cheerful facial expression and a robust, jolly appearance. Vocal Skills: Ability to project a warm, booming voice with a genuine, jovial laugh. Stamina: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (up to 4-5 hours) and maintain high energy levels. Patience and Empathy: Exceptional patience and an understanding, gentle approach when interacting with nervous, shy, or crying children. Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check, including criminal history, due to the nature of working with children. Punctuality: Absolute reliability in adhering to the scheduled performance dates and times. Physical Demands Ability to wear a heavy, warm costume for an extended shift. Ability to sit comfortably in a large chair for long periods of time. Ability to lift and safely hold children up to 50 lbs. for photographs (with parent assistance if necessary). Ability to maintain a clear, loud voice projection. Schedule and Compensation This is a seasonal role with peak hours available between November 10th and December 26th. Compensation is highly competitive, based on experience and is paid on an hourly basis.
