THIS IS A THIRD SHIFT JOB. Starting pay: Min $24/hr, salary based on experience

We process and pack a large amount of fresh produce for high-end and discount chain stores, as well as food service and manufacturing accounts. We are looking for a supervisor for our 3RD SHIFT (approx. start time 6pm). Candidate MUST have at least 2 years experience working in sanitation in the food industry. You must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work overtime.

As the sanitation supervisor, you have one of the most important roles in the plant - keeping our processing room clean to reduce microbial contamination, and get the rooms ready for production. When not performing sanitation duties, you will assist with leading production.

You will supervise a team of 20 employees, and set high standards for sanitation. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the equipment used in processing and packaging our products, to ensure that we meet/exceed all state and federal requirements. You must ensure that proper chemical handling procedures are strictly followed, and enforce PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when required. We are looking for detail-oriented person who has the highest professional standards of cleanliness.
