Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and sanitation standards. Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately, including upselling additional items to enhance the customer experience. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sanitizing workstations and bussing tables as needed. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing any inquiries or concerns.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Strong food handling skills with knowledge of sanitation practices. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting. Experience operating a cash register is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed within the kitchen environment. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
