JOB SUMMARY:
To provide the best customer service and maximize sales through efficient execution of Company procedures and to uphold the Gold Standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Help customers locate merchandise and informing customer of any product knowledge that may be helpful.
Verify proper product rotation and basic stocking of merchandise.
Operate handheld Telxon and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Remove damaged merchandise from floor as needed.
Follow company guidelines for department merchandising and setting store ads.
Ensure a safe and clean work environment while following loss prevention and safety procedures.
Assist customers with special order requests and sales.
Attend store and job-related meetings along with completion of required in-store trainings.
Communicate effectively with Customers, Management, and all employees.
Follow all applicable Company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
Ensure that your work area is clean and has sufficient supplies to complete assigned duties.
Operate cash registers and assist with customer carry outs on an as-needed basis.
Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays (No Exceptions)
Able to operate pallet jacks and/or tow motors and/or able to learn to do so.
Weightlifting capability up to and including 50 lbs.
Other duties and responsibilities may be required as assigned.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete special projects as directed by management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Age requirement is 16 years old.
Must possess great customer service and communication skills.
