We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in cabinet doors and related millwork products. The ideal candidate has experience in B2B sales, cabinetry, woodworking, or home-improvement products, and is comfortable building strong relationships with contractors, designers, dealers, and manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, including cabinet shops, contractors, builders, and distributors.
Understand customer needs and provide product recommendations, quotes, and technical support for cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and accessory lines.
Present product offerings through in-person visits, virtual demos, trade shows, and showroom interactions.
Prepare accurate estimates and proposals, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion.
Manage a sales pipeline using CRM tools; track activity, forecast sales, and meet revenue targets.
Collaborate with production and customer service teams to ensure accurate order processing and on-time delivery.
Stay current on industry trends, product innovations, and competitor offerings.
Resolve customer concerns promptly to maintain long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales, preferably in cabinetry, woodworking, building materials, or home improvement products.
Strong understanding of cabinet door construction, materials, and styles (or ability to learn quickly).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to read basic drawings, measurements, and specifications.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Comfortable traveling within an assigned territory.
Preferred Skills
Existing network within the cabinetry or millwork industry.
Experience selling custom or semi-custom products.
Knowledge of finishing options, wood species, and manufacturing processes.
