Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, knowledgeable, and results-driven Sales Representative specializing in polished concrete floors and epoxy overlay solutions. In this role, you will engage directly with contractors, property managers, commercial clients, and project decision-makers to generate new business and expand our presence in the flooring industry.

The ideal candidate has strong outside sales experience, understands the construction/contracting environment, and excels at building long-term customer relationships. You will play a key role in driving revenue through territory management, project bidding, client consultations, and showcasing the value of our flooring systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets in assigned territories. Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, site visits, networking, and market research in the commercial, industrial, and retail sectors. Present and explain polished concrete and epoxy overlay systems to clients, including benefits, durability, maintenance, and cost advantages. Prepare and deliver accurate project estimates and bids. Manage and grow existing client accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term partnership potential. Collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure accurate scope, scheduling, and successful project completion. Stay updated on industry trends, flooring specifications, materials, and competitors to position our solutions effectively. Attend construction meetings, walk-throughs, and contractor networking events to build visibility. Maintain CRM records for leads, quotes, follow-ups, and customer interactions. Support marketing efforts by providing feedback on customer needs and industry trends. Upsell additional services such as sealing, maintenance coatings, or repair work when applicable.
Requirements

Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or construction-related sales. Knowledge of concrete flooring systems (polished concrete, epoxy coatings, overlays) or willingness to learn quickly. Strong negotiation, estimating, and project-presentation skills. Ability to read or understand basic construction plans is a plus. Excellent communication and customer relationship-building skills. CRM experience (Salesforce or similar). Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to manage territory activities independently. Ability to travel locally for client visits, site inspections, and networking events. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to business development.
