McDonough is seeking a motivated and results-driven

Sales Representative

to support and grow our customer base. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, understands sawmills, and takes pride in representing a company with deep roots and a strong reputation.

The

Sales Representative

will work closely with customers, distributors, and internal teams to identify needs, provide solutions, and drive sales of McDonough equipment and services.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers Promote and sell McDonough's sawmill and heavy equipment solutions Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and product information Travel to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events as required Collaborate with engineering, production, and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction Track sales activity and maintain accurate records and forecasts

Qualifications

Proven experience in sales, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or heavy equipment Knowledge of sawmill, forestry, or wood-processing equipment is a strong asset Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities Willingness to travel as needed Proficiency with basic computer tools and CRM systems
