We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to promote and sell roll-off dumpster rentals and portable toilet services to residential, commercial, construction, and event customers. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and coordinating service solutions that meet customer needs. This is an exempt position with a salary range of $55K-$70K annually based on experience, plus commission.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
Prospect and develop new customers through cold calling, site visits, referrals, and networking
Maintain and grow existing customer accounts
Promote roll-off dumpster rentals, portable toilets, handwash stations, and related services
Prepare and present pricing, proposals, and service agreements
Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales targets
Customer Service & Account Management
Serve as primary point of contact for customers from quote to service completion
Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate container sizes, quantities, and service schedules
Resolve customer concerns and ensure high satisfaction levels
Maintain accurate quotes and customer records in CRM
Coordination & Operations Support
Communicate service details clearly with dispatch and operations teams
Verify job site access, placement requirements, and service timelines
Monitor service performance and follow up with customers as needed
Market & Industry Awareness
Track competitor pricing and market trends
Identify opportunities for upselling and long-term service contracts
Represent the company professionally at job sites and events
Qualifications:
Required
Bachelor's degree or Associates degree with experience
Proven sales experience (B2B or service-based sales preferred)
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred
Experience in waste management, construction services, or portable sanitation
Knowledge of roll-off containers, portable toilets, or construction site operations
Familiarity with CRMs or sales monitoring software
