Job Title: Sales & Marketing Representative



(Healthcare: Nursing Homes, Assisted Living, and Home Healthcare)

Position Summary



The Sales & Marketing Representative is responsible for driving census growth and brand visibility across the organization's continuum of care, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home healthcare services. This role develops and maintains strong referral relationships, promotes the organization's services within the community, and ensures a professional, compassionate representation of the company's mission.

The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, highly organized, and knowledgeable about senior care, post-acute services, and the needs of older adults and their families.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development



Identify, develop, and maintain strong referral partnerships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, social workers, senior centers, rehabilitation facilities, and community organizations. Conduct regular outreach visits to referral sources to promote services and support placement decisions. Manage inquiries from prospective residents, clients, and families; conduct follow-ups and convert leads into admissions or service starts. Provide tours of facilities, explain care options, and support families through the decision-making process. Develop and implement monthly sales plans to achieve census goals and market share targets. Monitor local competitors, market conditions, and industry trends to identify new growth opportunities.

Marketing & Community Engagement



Represent the organization at community events, health fairs, senior expos, and professional networking events. Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including digital outreach, print media, and community-based initiatives. Assist in managing social media content, website updates, and online reputation (reviews, listings, etc.). Create and distribute marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, newsletters, and presentations. Coordinate open houses, educational workshops, and professional events to promote services.

Collaboration & Reporting



Work closely with facility administrators, clinical teams, and intake/admissions departments to ensure smooth and timely transitions for new residents or clients. Document all sales activity using CRM or tracking tools, including leads, referral contacts, tours, and conversions. Report weekly/monthly sales metrics, marketing activities, census updates, and referral trends. Participate in strategic planning meetings to align marketing strategies with organizational goals.

Qualifications



Previous experience in healthcare sales, senior living, post-acute care, or home healthcare strongly preferred. Understanding of long-term care, assisted living regulations, home health services, and discharge planning processes. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and families. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision. Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and customer-service skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel. Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and basic marketing tools.

Work Environment & Schedule



Primarily field-based with travel to referral sources and community events. May require occasional evenings or weekends for events or tours. Works collaboratively with admissions, nursing, therapy, and administrative teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
