Buswest is looking for a New School Bus Sales Representative responsible for prospecting and generating new bus sales and developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships with existing clients.
Essential Duties:
Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of busses and pricing
Reviews inventory on a daily basis
Identifies leads, manages prospects and acquires new business
Meets or exceeds new business sales goals
Completes prospecting activities to secure first and follow up appointment with decision makers
Prepares and delivers proposals/presentations to customers and key decision makers
Prepares and drafts sales agreements and other paperwork needed to complete the sale in a timely manner
Introduces customers and prospective customers to VVG financing department
Develops and maintains an awareness of the market behavior and competitive trends and responds accordingly
Ensures buses are ready, repaired, clean and presentable for purchasing customer
Build and maintain strong business relationships with Arizona school districts
Required Qualifications:
Must present and communicate in a professional manner
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be organized with good time management skills
Possesses proven analytical/problem solving skills for the customer and company
Computer proficiency
Previous sales experience in the trucking/bus industry
Experience in developing and executing sales strategies
Possesses strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills
Must have valid driver's license and a good driving record
CDL Class B required (or must be obtained within 12 months of hire)
Compensation:
$75K$150K/year depending on experience and qualifications
Plus Commission
