PURPOSE:
The Sales Consultant maximizes vehicle sales by identifying customer needs, implementing sales processes, promoting the dealership and the products and providing exemplary customer service and care at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
:
Close a minimum of 12 vehicles per month, 30 vehicles per quarter.
Always represent the company in a professional and ethical manner.
Collect relevant and required consumer contact data.
Service all allocated sales inquiries in a prompt and effective fashion.
Maintain a level of dialogue with all consumers that leave without purchasing.
Generate and maintain a client base.
Provide Sales Management with a daily work plan.
Maintain familiarity with respective inventory.
Achieve a pre-determined level of Minimum Acceptance Performance (MAP) each calendar month.
Assist clients by providing information, answering questions, obtaining vehicles requested by clients.
Look, act, sound and represent the company in a manner of professionalism.
Collect and record customer names, residential and/or business and e-mail addresses, landline and mobile telephone numbers and scan driver's license in a non-intrusive fashion.
Record all customer contacts in the current customer database.
Protect and preserve the integrity of the company in the promotion and retailing of new and/or pre-owned motor vehicles through the process and guidelines established by the dealership.
Utilize the following Fundamentals Skills

Attend sales meetings and training classes as directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or the equivalent
Hold current and valid driver license
Ability to plan and control
Product knowledge; sales skills
Must be able to multi-task
Ability to collaborate with others
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient knowledge of dealership's computer systems
Flexible with schedule
Ability to travel (less than 25%)
Clean driving record
Must be a team player with impeccable honesty and integrity
Maintain a high level of professional personal appearance, grooming and conduct
