Position Overview
The Sales Representative plays a key role in generating new business by conducting
high-volume outbound cold calls
to potential clients. This is the primary function of the role.
You will initiate first contact, introduce Kalen's services, schedule discovery meetings, support proposal development, and maintain impeccable CRM documentation. You will work closely with the CEO, Project Manager and Marketing Consultants at Kalen to ensure prospects move smoothly through the sales funnel.
This is a
high-activity, phone-heavy
role ideal for someone who enjoys outbound calling, is resilient, and gets results through persistence, professionalism, and excellent communication.
What You'll Do:
Lead Generation & Qualification
Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, social media, and networking.
Qualify inbound and outbound leads by identifying goals, challenges, timeline, and budget.
Schedule discovery meetings for Marketing Consultants and the sales team.
Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation on every lead.
Proposal & Communication Support
Assist in creating customized proposals and pitch materials.
Support follow-up communication, document collection, and meeting coordination.
Clearly communicate expectations, next steps, and timelines to prospects and internal teams.
Sales Coordination & Pipeline Management
Update CRM stages in real time to reflect progress and next actions.
Support handoff processes to Marketing Consultants once a deal closes.
Participate in weekly sales meetings and provide lead status updates.
Team Collaboration
Support Senior Sales Reps on larger or more complex opportunities.
Participate in strategy discussions to improve outreach and lead nurturing.
Provide input to improve sales documentation, workflows, and follow-up systems.
What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications
? 1-3+ years of experience in sales, lead generation, customer service, or a related role
? Comfortable making
high-volume outbound calls
? Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
? Highly organized with excellent follow-through
? Experience using a CRM to track leads (GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
? Ability to manage multiple conversations, follow-ups, and deadlines at once
? Confidence in speaking with business owners and decision-makers
? Positive attitude, resilience, and eagerness to learn
? Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings or networking events
Preferred (Not Required)
Experience in marketing, advertising, or creative services
Prior work in a fast-paced agency or professional services environment
