This position is located at our Creve Coeur, MO office. This is NOT a remote position.
Westin Trading, Inc. is a national trading company based in Saint Louis Missouri. Focusing on business-to-business sales, we have become a leader in the wholesale grocery industry.
We supply retail grocery chains, large wholesalers, convenience store chains, as well as independent wholesalers.
We are looking for an experienced sales person to work with our Account Managers. The Ideal candidate will have previous negotiation & purchasing experience, and/or sales and account management experience. You will assist current Account Managers in their day-to-day activities, such as creating Purchase Orders and Sales Confirmations to our customers. You will also do Data Analysis, create reports, and eventually transition into managing offers from suppliers as well as quoting customers product for sale.
The ideal candidate will have the opportunity of transitioning into an Account Manager position.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter and update product for sale in company system
Assist Account Managers with purchase transactions.
Assist Account Managers in quoting products for sale to customers.
Update customers on existing orders
Product research using company and industry databases.
Skills:
Strong communication skills with experience via phone is critical.
Ability to work with a multitude of vendors simultaneously.
Previous experience, and success, negotiating costs and sales prices.
Must possess accurate order entry skills.
Must be able to work efficiently both independently and within a team.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and driven.
Ability to organize and prioritize within a fast-moving environment.
