Sales Order Processor

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Order Processor to join our operations team. This role is responsible for reviewing, verifying, and processing incoming sales orders with speed and accuracy. You will work closely with sales, warehouse, and customer support to ensure orders are compliant, properly documented, and ready for fulfillment.

If you've processed orders in any high-volume or regulated environment (e-commerce, distribution, B2B, wholesale, etc.), you will succeed here. Experience working with complex requirements, documentation, or special account constraints is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities



Review all incoming sales orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Verify customer information, item availability, pricing, and required documentation. Communicate with sales reps and customers when clarification or corrections are needed. Ensure orders are routed correctly to fulfillment and production teams. Monitor order queues, prioritize urgent or time-sensitive accounts. Track order status and follow up with internal departments as needed. Maintain accurate records within our ERP/e-commerce systems. Identify discrepancies, prevent avoidable delays, and escalate issues quickly. Assist with process improvements to increase speed and accuracy.

Requirements



1+ year experience in order processing, order management, fulfillment coordination, or similar operational role.

Strong attention to detail; ability to catch errors before they become problems. Comfortable working quickly while maintaining accuracy. Experience with any ERP, CRM, or e-commerce platform (BigCommerce, Shopify, NetSuite, QuickBooks Commerce, ShipStation, etc.). Strong communication skills; able to request missing info without confusion. Ability to handle high-volume order queues and strict requirements. Reliable, organized, and responsive.

Preferred Experience



Background in B2B, wholesale, distribution, or regulated products (not required). Familiarity with paperwork-heavy environments (invoices, POs, compliance docs, etc.). Experience coordinating with warehouse or logistics teams.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
