We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Operations Manager to lead and optimize our sales functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, expertise in outside and B2B sales, and a proven track record in business development and account management. This role requires a combination of technical sales acumen, marketing insight, and leadership capabilities to drive revenue growth and enhance customer relationships across various industries. The Sales Operations Manager will play a critical role in developing sales strategies, analyzing market trends, and managing key client accounts to ensure the achievement of organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives, focusing on outside sales, B2B sales, and technical sales initiatives.
Manage key accounts, fostering strong relationships to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
Utilize Salesforce and other technology tools to track sales activities, analyze performance metrics, and generate actionable insights.
Coordinate marketing efforts to support sales campaigns and expand market reach.
Conduct negotiations with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that support business growth.
Identify new business opportunities through market analysis and proactive outreach.
Provide leadership in business development efforts by exploring new markets and customer segments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer service to streamline operations.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Experience
Bilingual (English / Spanish)
Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, and technical or technology sales environments.
Proven experience in Freight/Transportation (LTL, FTL, 3PL)
Demonstrated success in management roles within a sales organization.
Strong background in business development, account management, and negotiation strategies.
Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for sales tracking and analysis.
Excellent analysis skills to interpret data for strategic decision-making.
Leadership experience with the ability to motivate teams and drive results.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
