Job Description

As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets while ensuring exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the sales department, managing a team of sales associates, and developing strategies to enhance sales performance. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance. You will also be tasked with analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth, as well as implementing training programs to improve the skills of your team members. In this position, you will collaborate closely with other departments, including marketing and finance, to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact through to the final sale. You will be expected to maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during the sales process. Additionally, you will be responsible for setting sales goals, monitoring progress, and providing regular feedback to your team to help them achieve their individual and collective targets. The Sales Manager will also be involved in inventory management, ensuring that the dealership has the right mix of vehicles to meet customer demand. You will be expected to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to effectively position the business in the marketplace. Your ability to motivate and inspire your team will be key to driving sales success and achieving the dealership's overall objectives.

Responsibilities



Oversee the daily operations of the sales department. Manage and lead a team of sales associates. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets. Requirements



Proven experience as a Sales Manager for new and used cars in the automotive industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze sales data and market trends. Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong customer service orientation. Knowledge of automotive sales processes and financing options.

Nice-to-haves



Experience in an import dealership environment. Ability to speak multiple languages.
