Job Description


What does a great Sr Sales Executive- Digital do? You will be responsible for generating leads and driving new sales bookings for Fiserv\xe2\x80\x99s Digital Banking business through direct sales of eBanking products to targeted Financial Institutions within a designated territory or as assigned by manager. This position carries a sales quota and may require travel. An Ideal candidate will have solid communication, presentation, relationship-building, organizational and problem-solving skills.

You can look forward to:

  • Generating leads and driving profitable revenue by selling Fiserv Drives strategies, tactics and account plans to identify, qualify and secure new Fiserv clients to meet sales targets
  • Managing the effective and rapid movement of leads through the sales process, including qualification of prospects; assessment of potential client needs; presentation of Fiserv solutions; and expeditious closing of business Independently develops selling strategies for assigned accounts and effectively interfaces regularly with executive levels.
  • Leveraging executive level contacts to develop greater account coverage and create demand
  • Developing strategies to utilize key influential individuals within client\xe2\x80\x99s decision process and creates action plans to influence decisions
  • Securing funding for future customer initiatives by linking Fiserv\xe2\x80\x99s solutions to client\xe2\x80\x99s business issues to gain credibility at executive level
  • Recommending new value-add solutions through unsolicited proposals to create customer demand and helps customer identify and measure the impact of the proposed business improvement
  • Building internal and external industry networks to remain current on industry trends and describes Fiserv\xe2\x80\x99s value in the context of emerging market trends and how they affect the customer
  • Articulating to the customer how Fiserv is better positioned than the competition to meet their business needs and objectives; Preventing objections by uncovering customer concerns early and building consensus towards a mutual solution based on customer requirements
  • Developing long term client and business relationships based on mutual value and trust, resulting in repeat business for Fiserv.
  • Managing client expectations appropriately to ensure mutual satisfaction for the client and Fiserv.
  • Maintaining prompt and accurate sales pipeline forecasting in the eCRM system and practicing the Fiserv Way of Selling philosophies and skill sets.
  • Sharing industry, solution, deal, and sales \xe2\x80\x9cbest practice\xe2\x80\x9d knowledge with the sales community.

  • Understands the sales process, development and qualification of a business need, identification of target clients, and favorable positioning of products.
  • Assesses client\xe2\x80\x99s business needs and applies business impact model methodology to justify Fiserv\xe2\x80\x99s solution to solve business problems
  • Applies thorough knowledge of Fiserv\xe2\x80\x99s solutions and client\xe2\x80\x99s financial metrics in implementing selling strategies.
  • Incorporates thorough understanding of industry trends and client\xe2\x80\x99s key challenges into sales presentations.
  • Describes Fiserv\xe2\x80\x99s value in the context of emerging market trends and how they affect the client.
  • Articulates solutions in terms of ROI to the client and sells business value
You will need to have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor\'s degree in Business or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years selling experience in the digital banking space
  • Solution sales experience in information technology
It would be nice to have:
  • Successful sales track record.
  • Ability to handle high volume of leads.
  • Positive, high-energy, can do attitude.
  • Good written & verbal communication skills as well as group presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and track numerous independent sales with timely follow-up.
Travel Required: Up to 50%
