Position Overview
The Sales Director provides strategic and operational leadership for all sales and customer-facing activities at Eddy Homes. This critical leadership role drives revenue generation, develops and coaches the sales team, executes sales strategies, and ensures exceptional customer experiences across all communities.

Key Responsibilities
Team Development & Coaching
Recruit, hire, and onboard sales talent aligned with company culture and standards
Coach and mentor team members through regular one-on-one sessions, providing performance feedback and skill development
Design and deliver sales training programs covering product knowledge, consultative selling, objection handling, and closing techniques
Conduct role-playing exercises and practice sessions to improve team effectiveness
Shadow team members during customer interactions to provide real-time coaching
Track individual performance metrics and create personalized development plans
Develop sales playbooks and best-practice documentation
Foster a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
Sales Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives
Monitor and analyze sales metrics, KPIs, and market trends
Define and adjust sales territories based on market conditions
Manage compensation plans, quota targets, and performance incentives
Enforce corporate standards, brand guidelines, and process compliance
Contract & Operations Management
Oversee contract processes ensuring alignment with company policies
Resolve escalated customer issues, particularly during pre-construction phases
Verify contract incentives, deposits, contingencies, and requirements
Ensure proper documentation, filing, and compliance for all contracts
Manage complex contract negotiations
Marketing & Community Management
Develop and implement marketing strategies for communities and new launches
Review and optimize marketing performance metrics
Ensure quality and brand compliance of all marketing materials
Maintain model home and community presentation standards
Manage QMI home configuration, pricing strategy, and inventory
Plan and execute new community launches
Coordinate market intelligence and competitive analysis
Plan and execute broker events and community activities
Required Qualifications
Experience:
5-10 years of progressive sales experience in home-building, real estate, or related industry
Proven success at overcoming objections and closing sales
Demonstrated experience developing and delivering sales training programs
Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Luxury or custom home-building experience strongly preferred
Core Competencies:
Expert coaching and mentoring abilities with focus on skill development
Strong consultative sales skills and objection-handling expertise
Strategic thinking with ability to execute plans
Deep knowledge of residential construction and home design
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics
