GDS manufactures, paints, sells, and distributes its Skinz worldwide. GDS is also quickly moving into all other categories of protective headwear: baseball, softball, lacrosse, hockey, snow sports, motorsports, military, and more. We are the only company in the world providing this product. Plus, in 2023 we acquired an industry-leading decal company, thrusting us squarely into the decal space.

The primary role of the SDR is to call decision-makers for high school and college football, baseball, and softball teams and get them to agree to get a quote for GDS products. GDS is currently focusing on the football market, but rolling out baseball and softball in the coming year. Plus, you will have the opportunity to sell decals, thus increasing the commission opportunity per sale.
SDRs will have the opportunity to earn an industry-leading incentive plan. Upward mobility and opportunities for growth are available for those demonstrating high standards of excellence within our team. This includes the potential to become a full-cycle local sales rep and/or be promoted into a sales leadership position.

Responsibilities:
Adhere to a proven sales strategy and a strict schedule of prospecting
Drive awareness
Call and email decision makers (coaches, athletic directors, equipment managers, boosters, players and parents) and get them to agree to receive a quote for GDS products
Target prospective clients from provided lead lists
Sales Process:
Explain our GDS products, colors, finishes, and design options
Set expectations (product uses, timing, installation requirements, etc.)
Consultative sale based on the personality and design requirements of each team
Get agreement from the prospect to receive a quote or set up a follow-up appointment with their local GDS sales rep
Provide the local GDS sales rep with the quote and/or follow-up appointment details
Meet or exceed monthly sales goals
Post-Quote/Appointment:
Work with the local sales rep if needed to help follow up after the quote and/or appointment
Provide support to the local sales rep to help them close the deal
Qualifications:
Required:
2+ years cold calling sales experience
Coaching/sports-related background preferred, but not required
Experience with tracking sales metrics - and providing regular reports to company
Must be professional and an exceptional representative of the GDS products
Prefer reps with deep sports knowledge and able to "talk shop" with prospects/clients
Problem solver and trust builder
Previous sales and/or client service experience
