Job Description

D.C. Elevator is a collection of well-established elevator service companies operating across the United States. Backed by Arcline Investment Management, AEG has a significant footprint in the elevator industry and is rapidly growing. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a talent for new customer engagement as we look to hire a Sales Development Representative (SDR) working out of our Louisville, KY office.
The SDR will be the initial point of contact for new prospects with a focus on coordinating appointments on behalf of our Business Development Representatives.

Responsibilities:

High-volume outbound cold calling Qualifying and building prospect relationships Booking appointments between prospects and our Business Development Representatives (BDRs) Answers incoming calls and communications; determine and assign the priority level of a call. Adeptly uses multi-line telephone system and other communications methods and networks. Asking questions and determining the caller situation via interpretation, analyses, and anticipation. Enter and update information in computer databases.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Environment & Hazards:

This job operates in a general office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Special Physical Demands:

This is a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files up-to fifteen pounds, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary.

Work Contact Group:

Significant contact with office administrators and other sales representatives Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field highly preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfort using the telephone as primary means of outreach. Willingness to cold-call and manage resistance. Highly organized with an entrepreneurial and results-oriented mindset. Excellent relationship-building abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite. Ability to learn CRM software. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with internal sales teams.
