With a new showroom inside the Laguna Design Center, we partner with homeowners, designers, and builders to create beautiful and functional spaces. Overview

The Sales Consultant is the first point of contact for homeowners exploring custom window treatments with OM Drapes Design. You'll handle inbound leads, host in-home consultations, and represent the company at local networking events and BNI meetings.

This is a relationship-based sales role focused on connecting with homeowners, understanding their design goals, and helping them explore the best solutions for their home. You'll collect all the details needed for the design team to prepare final quotes and ensure a seamless handoff from consultation to installation.

What You'll DoSales & Consultations

Respond promptly to new homeowner inquiries by phone or email. Follow up daily to book design consultations and maintain communication with leads. Conduct in-home consultations to assess client needs, take basic measurements, and discuss design preferences. Provide preliminary verbal or written quotes during consultations. Collect and deliver project details, notes, and photos to the design team. Maintain accurate lead tracking and follow-up documentation.

Networking & Outreach

Represent OM Drapes Design at local networking events and BNI meetings, sharing our services and building referral relationships. Follow up with leads and contacts from events to strengthen community connections. Occasionally assist with showroom appointments or homeowner inquiries.

Who You Are

Personable, polished, and confident with homeowners. Excellent communicator with strong listening and interpersonal skills. Organized, punctual, and detail-oriented. Comfortable driving across Orange County and sometimes Los Angeles for consultations and events. Prior experience in home design, furnishings, or sales preferred. Motivated by performance-based income and community engagement.

Schedule & Compensation

Flexible position:

Full-Time or Part-Time

Pay:

Base hourly or commission-based (depending on experience), plus performance bonuses

Availability:

Weekdays with occasional evening or weekend events

Location:

Primarily field-based (Orange County) with occasional trips to LA and days at the Laguna Design Center showroom
