JOB DESCRIPTION

The Sales Consultant & Account Manager is a driven, competitive salesperson who thrives in a high-energy environment, with proven communication skills and professional ambition.

They are responsible for the acquisition, customer experience, growth, and sales pertaining to assigned accounts within the publishing industry while ensuring the highest level of customer commitment and service through relationships and expansion.

Understand the patience and finesse required to nurture relationships over the phone during both busy and slow seasons, responds promptly to queries and concerns, and take great pride in building brand affinity with every single interaction.

Consults with assigned accounts over marketing goals and suggests relevant solutions to best meet those goals.

Is passionate about the place that Christian books occupy in the marketplace; their ability to inspire, transform hearts, and change the world.

Is fascinated by the process of building long-lasting relationships within the charismatic Christian market.

Beyond a basic proficiency in MS Office and Outlook software, knowledge or an interest in how influencers develop their audiences with tools like social media, blogging, networking and personally promoting their work is key.

Supports the Mission and Vision of the company, must be a team player who possesses strong relationship-building skills, has a can-do attitude, has a desire to learn, and is not afraid to ask for or close a sale as well as suggestive sell/sell up.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven print and digital sales experience in the Christian charismatic/Pentecostal market

Successful track record of multi-tasking in a business environment

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Dynamic, charismatic personality motivated to exceed their own account targets

Manage accounts to achieve or exceed sales goals

Strong negotiation acumen to sell the company\'s products to existing and new accounts.

Thrives in a deadline driven environment

B2B and D2C demonstrated sales and account manager experience

Establishes relationship with existing clients and clearly understands their businesses and requirements

Proven hunting and cold calling abilities with impeccable phone etiquette; must have professional telephone and teleconference sales experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills; utilizing all mediums.

Works well with a team and independently.

Is able to travel to meet with clients within the US

Is comfortable with the company\'s Statement, beliefs, and values

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear for long periods of time. Must be able to listen and speak effectively on the phone. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment is a normal professional office setting. Although very fast paced, it is pleasant environment, which includes cordial relationships. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Schedule can be slightly modified after completion of 90-day introductory period and schedule change options are 8:00 am \xe2\x80\x93 5:00 pm or 9:00 am \xe2\x80\x93 6:00 pm. The option to work from home on Wednesdays is available after 60 days, provided you have the necessary technology and equipment needed to perform the duties of the job. Don\xe2\x80\x99t worry, no weekends are ever required, and we have eight paid holidays throughout the year.
