Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stocking practices to maximize sales potential Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support inventory management by stocking shelves, organizing products, and conducting stock checks regularly Assist in retail math calculations for sales totals, discounts, and promotions to ensure accurate transactions

Qualifications

Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus Experience supervising or leading team members is advantageous but not required Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills necessary for cash handling and transaction accuracy Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Knowledge of grocery store operations and merchandising techniques is beneficial Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced retail setting while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
