This is a commissioned base positions. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Customer Service/Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional service to our customers while driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering a positive shopping experience in our grocery store environment.

Duties

Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and providing product information. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately and responsibly. Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and enhance the customer shopping experience. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about new items and promotions. Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring product availability. Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations. Utilize strong phone etiquette when addressing customer calls or inquiries. Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and retail math tasks to ensure accurate transactions. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Experience with merchandising and stocking procedures. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse customer base.
