Hometown Pets Retail Associate Position

Hometown Pets is currently accepting applications for an Associate position

At Hometown Pets we provide products and solutions which support a safe, healthy, and happy environment for animals and their human companions.

This position, although initially offered as part-time, has full-time and Key Holder potential for the right individual. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is passionate about creating a unique, customer-focused environment to join an expanding family-owned business.

We have great customers and are looking for friendly and enthusiastic individuals to support them.

Responsibilities May Include:

Meet, greet, and assist customers

Operate a cash register/Point-Of-Sales System

Assist customers with the loading of orders

Unload delivery trucks and stock inventory (up to 50lb bags)

Assist with the feeding and maintenance of on-site animals

Interact with customers to ensure a positive shopping experience

Help keep the store clean and organized

Requirements

Over 18 years of age

High School Diploma or GED

Clean Criminal record

Personable and presentable

Able to repeatedly lift and carry 50 lbs.

Ability to work with animals

Desired

Retail experience
