High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) ; Notary License a plus. Must be able to pass background check to become Notary Public and Livescan Roller.
  • Greet customers promptly and ascertain what each customer wants or needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
  • Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash or credit payment.
  • Maintain records related to sales.
  • Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
  • Process returns received from customers
  • Ensure proper presentation and displays are in place for assigned area
Required qualifications:
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Available to work in Desert Hot Springs
  • Available to work: weekends
  • Available to work: weekdays
  • Math skills: tracking inventory usage
  • Math skills: counting cash drawer
  • Customer Service skills
  • At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
  • Retail skills: point of sale (POS) operation
  • Retail skills: handling returns
  • Able to stand for duration of shift
  • Able to comfortably lift 40 lbs
Preferred qualifications:
  • 18 years or older
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Available to work: overtime
  • 2+ years of experience in the retail industry
  • Retail skills: customer service
  • Retail skills: addressing customer complaints
  • Retail skills: restocking
  • Retail skills: taking inventory
  • Background check

  • Comfortable handling customer complaints
The Center Associate delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. The Associate expertly advises our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options and exhibits confidence by knowing best practices related to the industry. The ideal candidate has previous retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma or GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance. He or she must be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.50 per hour Benefits:
