Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at our outdoor living showroom. In this role, you'll work closely with customers to help them choose the best products for their outdoor living projects. Your expertise in our product offerings and ability to connect with customers will play a key role in providing an exceptional shopping experience. Additionally, you'll contribute to our brand presence by creating engaging social media content and handling backend clerical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:



Greet and engage customers as they enter the showroom, creating a welcoming environment. Understand customer needs and guide them through the product selection process, offering expert recommendations on outdoor kitchens, hot tubs, luxury appliances, and more. Demonstrate product features, answer customer questions, and provide information on the benefits of each product. Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals. Meet and exceed sales targets by proactively following up with leads, assisting in design consultations, and closing sales. Engage in creating and posting content on our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) to promote new products, special offers, and brand initiatives. Assist in developing creative and visually appealing posts and ads for social media. Handle backend computer tasks, including managing inventory updates, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom. Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and new technologies in outdoor living. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience.

Qualifications:



Previous sales experience, preferably in a retail or showroom environment (outdoor living or home improvement a plus). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for helping customers. Ability to learn and retain knowledge about products and features. A positive, can-do attitude with a desire to meet and exceed sales goals. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customer interactions. Experience in design or home improvement a plus but not required. Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) to engage customers and promote products. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Basic digital content creation skills (such as creating promotional posts or simple graphic design). Ability to manage backend clerical work, such as processing orders and maintaining records.

Fridays and Saturdays

are required.
Benefits include sales based commissions, spiffs, and bonuses.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
