Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of retail sales, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. The Sales Associate will be responsible for engaging customers, managing transactions, and maintaining an organized sales floor.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and refunds Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits Upsell products and suggest complementary items to increase sales Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and arranging displays Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment and merchandising Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Ensure proper phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone Supervise or assist in supervising other team members when needed Perform cashiering duties accurately and efficiently during register operations

Experience

Prior retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures Experience in supervising or leading a team is a plus Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly desirable Knowledge of retail math for handling transactions, discounts, and inventory management Ability to demonstrate product features effectively through demos and upselling techniques Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and transaction accuracy Proven customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
