Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store Conduct engaging product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handling cash and credit payments with confidence Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales volume Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stocking practices Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, assisting with stock replenishment, and organizing backroom storage

Requirements

Previous retail sales or grocery store experience preferred but not required; a passion for customer service is essential Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customers effectively Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are a plus for team collaboration roles Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and standing for extended periods Excellent phone etiquette for engaging with customers over the phone or in person A proactive attitude toward upselling, merchandising, and maintaining an organized store environment

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
