Healthy Homes LLC is Central Illinois' leader in indoor environmental health, remodeling, and restoration. We specialize in creating healthier, drier, more comfortable, and more energy-efficient homes through inspections, testing, mold remediation, waterproofing, air duct cleaning, crawlspace and attic work, and full-scale interior construction projects.
Position Overview
The Salesperson will manage all inbound and outbound leads for Healthy Homes, serving as one of the first points of contact for potential customers. This person will pre-qualify prospects, educate them on our process, and close sales for inspections, testing, remediation, and construction-related services.
This role requires a confident communicator who can manage a pipeline of leads, follow a proven sales system, and close deals effectively while providing an excellent customer experience.
Knowledge of buildings or experience in home service industries (construction, restoration, remodeling, etc.) is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Lead & Sales Management
Handle all inbound leads from calls, forms, and marketing campaigns.
Pre-qualify customers to ensure proper service fit.
Explain the Healthy Homes system-based approach and process clearly and professionally.
Deliver quotes, proposals, and service agreements.
Coordinate with inspectors and project managers for scheduling, pricing, and scope details.
Follow up consistently to close jobs and exceed monthly sales targets.
Customer Development
Reach out to past clients to generate repeat and referral business.
Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, insurance companies, and property managers.
Attend community and networking events to promote Healthy Homes' services.
Marketing & Campaigns
Manage and execute text and email campaigns to generate new business.
Create and run your own outreach campaigns to drive new sales and leads.
Follow up on marketing and website leads.
Collaborate with the office and marketing teams to improve follow-up systems and conversion rates.
Administration & Reporting:
Log all activity, leads, quotes, and closed jobs in Jobber CRM.
Build and maintain your own tracking systems for sales and performance.
Provide daily and weekly updates to management.
Follow company SOPs for sales process, customer communication, and job handoffs.
Compensation & Performance Structure
Base Salary: $40,000 per year
Commission:
Earn 2% commission on every company sale you generate.
After reaching $150,000 in closed sales, commission increases to 4%.
After reaching $200,000 in closed sales, commission increases to 5% on all future sales for that month.
Commission resets monthly.
Bonuses: Performance-based and milestone bonuses for hitting sales targets.
Earning Potential: $80,000-$120,000+ annually (uncapped).
Qualifications
Sales experience in residential services, remodeling, or restoration (required).
Knowledge of home systems, air quality, or construction processes (preferred).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple leads and follow a structured sales process.
Organized, self-motivated, and driven to achieve measurable results.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (company vehicle may be provided for appointments).
Schedule
Full-time position (Monday-Friday; occasional Saturdays if needed).
Mix of field, office, and remote work.
Reports directly to the Owner and Project Management team.
