Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs Conduct engaging product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stocking practices Provide knowledgeable answers about products, store policies, and promotions using clear communication skills Ensure proper phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone inquiries or follow-ups Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and participating in regular stock replenishment efforts

Qualifications

Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies is a plus Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities within the team Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with retail environments enhances your fit for this role
