Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance customer satisfaction. Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and increase sales. Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Maintain organized stock levels on the sales floor, ensuring that shelves are well-stocked and visually appealing. Assist in inventory management by restocking merchandise as needed and conducting regular stock checks. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards.

Skills

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Experience in retail sales, preferably within a grocery store environment. Proficiency in cash handling and operating cash registers. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management. A customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to build rapport with shoppers. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining attention to detail.
