Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs Operate POS systems efficiently for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits to customers Upsell additional products or services to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stocking shelves regularly Assist with inventory management, including stocking and inventory counts Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly Support supervising staff with training new team members and overseeing daily operations when needed Ensure proper phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely

Skills

Proficiency with POS systems and basic retail math for transactions and inventory management Previous supervising experience is advantageous for leadership responsibilities Ability to perform product demos confidently and persuasively Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele Strong phone etiquette and communication skills for customer interactions Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail sales best practices Basic math skills necessary for cashiering and cash handling tasks Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Experience working in grocery stores or similar retail environments is preferred
