Note: This is not a photography position. We are hiring a sales professional to represent our services and manage school relationships.

Job Summary



We are seeking a strategic, relationship-driven Sales Account Executive to lead territory growth in Northern Virginia. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in education sales, advertising sales, event planning or institutional partnerships. You'll be responsible for developing new school accounts, maintaining existing relationships, and representing Barksdale at regional events.

You will report directly to our National Sales Manager and work alongside other experienced local sales representatives based out of our Chantilly, VA office. We value initiative, integrity, and long-term relationship building.

Responsibilities



Prospect by phone to identify and engage new school accounts (this is a core requirement) Build and manage relationships with school administrators, district leaders, and parent organizations Develop and execute a territory growth strategy focused on retention and new business Represent Barksdale at education conferences, trade shows, and school events Collaborate with internal teams on marketing and promotional initiatives Maintain accurate CRM records and generate regular sales performance reports Negotiate service agreements and manage onboarding documentation Travel regularly to schools across Northern Virginia (approx. 5 days/week during peak seasons)

Qualifications



3-5+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in education, event planning, or advertising sales Prior experience calling on schools or school districts is a strong plus Comfortable and confident making outbound prospecting calls Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms Self-starter with strong time management and territory planning abilities Bachelor's degree preferred

Projected Total Compensation: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
