Sales Account Executive

with

a minimum of 2 years of experience in sales support or account management within the consumer products, craft, toy, gift, or related industry

.

In this role, you will manage key accounts, support revenue growth, and work cross-functionally with design, production, operations, and marketing teams to bring trend-forward, creative products to market. You will analyze sales trends, guide assortment decisions, and lead account strategies that maximize opportunities across multiple retail channels.

We are located in the Historic Third Ward and provide many benefits including parking and a 4-day work week!

Responsibilities

Account Ownership & Growth



Manage a portfolio of national and specialty retail accounts, ensuring strong communication and profitable relationships. Develop and execute account-specific sales strategies aligned with customer needs and company goals. Present new product lines, seasonal programs, and promotions during buyer meetings and line reviews. Prepare and maintain accurate forecasts, pricing proposals, and program documentation. Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts through category analysis, promotional planning, and assortment expansion.

Sales Operations & Execution



Oversee order placement to delivery, ensuring adherence to routing guides, compliance requirements, and customer timelines. Work closely with planning and operations teams to ensure accurate replenishment and inventory availability. Troubleshoot order, shipping, or logistical issues and resolve them promptly. Utilize retailer portals (Retail Link, Partners Online, etc.) to analyze performance and manage item setup or maintenance. Maintain strong product knowledge and articulate product features, benefits, and trends to customers.

Cross-Functional Collaboration



Partner with the Design team to ensure we have tailored assortment offerings for the retailer. Collaborate with Production and Operations to align cost, timelines, and fulfillment needs. Support tradeshows, customer meetings, and seasonal market presentations.

Education and Experience

College Diploma or University Degree preferred (Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field) Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales support, account coordinator, or account executive role within the consumer products, craft, toy, gift, or similar industry is required Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint Experience with retailer portals such as Retail Link, Partners Online, or similar Experience with ERP systems and/or basic import logistics knowledge Prior experience presenting to buyers or supporting line reviews
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
