About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to support the planning and implementation of safety policies and procedures across job sites. This role is vital to ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other safety regulations while fostering a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Implement and support safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, DOT).
Maintain and update safety procedure manuals and ensure alignment with current construction and industry standards.
Promote and lead a proactive safety culture across job sites.
Educate and train team members on safe work practices.
Analyze accident reports and develop corrective measures.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure PPE compliance and overall safety adherence.
Participate in OSHA inspections and handle related procedures and documentation.
Lead training sessions on safe work procedures.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or related technical field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety leadership role within construction or MEP.
Strong knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, DOT, EPA, and Workers' Comp regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
OSHA 30 certification (OSHA 500 preferred).
Must meet critical deadlines and adhere to all company policies.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background checks (e.g., DMV, criminal history).
Must be available to work assigned schedules and relocate to Richmond, VA if needed.
