Overview


Join our dynamic team as a Safety Manager and champion a culture of safety, health, and environmental excellence! In this vital role, you will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety programs across manufacturing operations. Your expertise will ensure compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), and other relevant regulations while fostering a proactive safety mindset. As a Safety Manager, you will empower teams through training, conduct thorough investigations, and promote occupational health initiatives to create a safe, productive workplace where everyone thrives.

Duties



Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety policies aligned with OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and industry best practices. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions promptly. Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis techniques to determine underlying issues and prevent recurrence. Facilitate safety training sessions on topics such as first aid, CPR, workers' compensation law, OSHA compliance, and occupational health. Maintain accurate report writing for incidents, inspections, audits, and compliance documentation to ensure transparency and regulatory adherence. Coordinate emergency response procedures and ensure all team members are trained in first aid and CPR to respond effectively during incidents. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing safety data trends and implementing targeted initiatives to reduce workplace injuries.

Qualifications



Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and occupational health principles. Certified in first aid, CPR, and trained in root cause analysis methods. Knowledge of workers' compensation law and reporting requirements for workplace injuries. Demonstrated ability to develop engaging training & development programs focused on EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) topics. Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail for incident documentation and compliance records. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams at all levels and foster a safety-first culture. Ability to analyze complex data sets related to safety performance and develop actionable insights for continuous improvement. Pay: $67,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
