Job Summary


We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Field Representative to champion safety and compliance on construction sites. In this vital role, you will serve as the frontline advocate for occupational health and safety, ensuring that all project activities adhere to regulatory standards and best practices. Your energetic approach will help foster a culture of safety, minimize risks, and promote a secure environment for all team members, contractors, and visitors. Duties



Conduct comprehensive safety inspections across construction sites to identify hazards and ensure adherence to OSHA standards, NEC (National Electrical Code), and other relevant regulations. Develop, implement, and monitor safety protocols tailored to each project's specific needs, emphasizing risk management strategies. Facilitate safety training sessions for workers and management teams to promote awareness of occupational health practices and compliance requirements. Collaborate with construction management teams to integrate EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) policies into daily operations effectively. Maintain detailed records of safety inspections, incident reports, and compliance documentation using construction management software. Assist in accident investigations by gathering evidence, analyzing root causes related to workers' compensation claims, and recommending corrective actions. Ensure all personnel are equipped with appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and that safety signage is visible and up-to-date. Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory agencies during site audits or inspections to demonstrate compliance management efforts. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhanced safety procedures and risk mitigation measures.

Qualifications



Proven experience in construction site safety or a related field with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations, NEC codes, and occupational health standards. Demonstrated knowledge of risk management principles and compliance management practices within the construction industry. Familiarity with construction management software tools used for safety tracking and documentation. Hands-on experience with construction management processes, including site supervision or project coordination. Strong communication skills to effectively train teams, report findings, and liaise with regulatory agencies. Ability to perform detailed safety assessments through visual inspections and site audits while maintaining high attention to detail. Relevant certifications such as OSHA 10, OSHA 30-Hour or 500-Hour Construction Safety Certification are highly desirable. Construction site experience that provides insight into daily operations, hazards, and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment. Pay: $26.97 - $32.48 per hour
