Safety Coordinator

role in Ponca City, OK. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and an unwavering commitment to delivering the highest-quality products. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining workplace safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards. Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. Lead safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and onboarding safety orientations for new employees. Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and injuries; prepare reports and support corrective action follow-through. Maintain safety documentation, including logs, permits, training records, and compliance reports. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Ensure the proper use of PPE and monitor adherence to safety protocols throughout the facility. Support emergency response planning, drills, and readiness activities. Assist with developing and revising safety policies, procedures, and job hazard analyses. Promptly report any safety concerns, violations, or equipment hazards to leadership.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR) preferred. Prior experience in safety, manufacturing, or industrial environments is highly desirable. Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and general workplace safety practices. Excellent communication, documentation, and training skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve safety concerns proactively. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Flexibility to work varying schedules, including occasional nights or weekends, as required.

What We Offer:
