We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to oversee and enhance workplace safety protocols within our manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, and maintaining safety programs that ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations. This role is vital in fostering a culture of safety, preventing workplace incidents, and promoting occupational health across all levels of the organization.
Duties
safety policies and procedures aligned with OSHA, EPA, and Workers' Compensation Law standards.
Planning safety programs and protocols.
Teaching all levels of employees in the company about health and safety standards, including new hire orientations.
Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis techniques to determine underlying issues and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain accurate report writing related to safety incidents, inspections, training records, and compliance documentation.
Collaborate with management to develop strategies for risk mitigation and continuous improvement in safety performance.
Promote a safety-first culture through ongoing communication, employee engagement, and leadership support.
Maintain Worker's Compensation incidents; reporting, investigating & resolving.
May need to assist the EHS Supervisor when needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or 3 years safety experience
REQUIRED;
proven experience in manufacturing safety or occupational health roles.
Strong knowledge of workers' compensation law, report writing, root cause analysis, and OSHA standards.
Excellent training & development skills to effectively educate employees on safety protocols.
Ability to analyze complex safety data and prepare comprehensive reports for management review.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence positive safety behaviors across teams.
Will be working in both office and plant environment.
Ability to work well as a team and interact with various types of technology.
Excellent organization, written and communication skills.
Computer literacy skills
Must be able to follow directions and work without direct supervision.
Candidate should be professional and possess a strong work ethic.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
